Young Women Meet on Body Politics and Sexuality

The second edition of Young Women Meet was organised from 24-26 September, 2015 with a focus on body politics, sexuality, and movement
building.  Participated by young women engaged in ending discrimination through diverse social sectors as activists, students,
theater artists, journalists, writers, musicians, poets among others, it created an open space for young women to meet, exchange, and build
allies. Young women prioritised four core areas for intervention in their community to end discrimination, inequality, and assert “My body, My
rules.” The areas are inter- generational gaps, youth friendly reproductive health and sexual health, body image, and participation
and leadership respectively.
